Biography
Wilson Miller is an associate in the Litigation Practice Group in Haynes Boone’s Dallas office. Wilson represents clients in complex disputes concerning a variety of issues, including franchise and distribution networks, credit card programs, trademark infringement, contracts, fraud, and insurance recovery. Wilson leans on his experience in trials, depositions, and hearings to develop forward-thinking litigation strategy from the early days of a dispute.
Wilson regularly advises franchisors from several industries in matters involving default and termination of franchise agreements, disputes brought by franchisee associations and other groups of franchisees, and requests for temporary restraining orders and preliminary injunctive relief. Wilson also advises financial institutions in cases involving requests for customer records and defends them against adverse claims. His experience includes representations of clients against local governments, insurance companies, real estate developers, and other parties in state and federal courts.
Wilson graduated from the University of Virginia School of Law. During law school, he was Vice President of Lambda Law Alliance and a teaching assistant for the first-year legal research and writing course. Wilson also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Studio Art from Washington and Lee University. Wilson draws on his background in art to develop clear, persuasive visuals for fact finders, judges, and arbitrators.
