Akunna Ekeh
Biography
Akunna Ekeh is an associate in the Dallas office of Haynes Boone. Her practice focuses on intellectual property and trademark law.
Prior to joining Haynes Boone, Akunna earned her J.D. from Harvard Law School, where she served on the board of the Harvard African Law Association and as Co-Chair of the Black Law Students H.O.M.E. Committee. While at Harvard, she focused her studies on entertainment and sports law. Akunna gained hands-on experience through the Sports Law Clinic and as a legal intern in the legal department at Roc Nation in New York City, where she developed a strong foundation in brand strategy, licensing, and intellectual property enforcement. She also worked with the Harvard Transactional Law Clinic, advising startups and small businesses on trademark and general business matters.
